Barstool Outdoors Fishing Flashback

I was flicking through my phone and found some pictures from 2019. The Barstool Outdoors episode with YP! What an incredible couple of days of fishing and getting to know him.

Mariko Izumi joined us on the trip and it didn’t take long to give him a taste of the full B.C. fishing experience. We ended up getting fish of all sizes and once scanned or tagged they were entered into the monitoring and assessment program data. An important part of collecting data is for the conservation of the sturgeon. Without the data, we have limited knowledge of what’s going on with the sturgeon population.

YP came over to the house after one of the days to watch his Blues play in the NHL playoffs and then the next day I ruined his arms and back while he worked his hardest to reel in some monster sturgeons. It’s was a memorable trip and one I’m glad we committed to.

YP has since moved on from Barstool but the episode will live forever, it was well done by Spence, thank you and we will see you again soon YP. We appreciate you reaching out to showcase our Conservation based business here in BC on the Fraser River for Sturgeon.
