Juvenile Research funded by Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation
Kevin continues to be a leader in research of juvenile sturgeon on the Fraser River and surrounding tributaries. Most recently, his involvement with the juvenile sturgeon monitoring and assessment program, which is funded by the habitat conservation trust foundation and managed by InStream Fisheries Research and the Fraser Valley Angling Guides Association.
Kevin, along with other leaders in the professional guiding community participate in collecting valuable data throughout the year to better understand juvenile sturgeon, the future of the fishery. Outside of these research days, Sturgeon Slayers offers juvenile research days where guest get to learn and participate in the data collection on guided trips.
