Costa Rica - Privacy in Paradise
It’s no secret if you follow Mariko Izumi on instagram @marikoizumi that you know we took off to our place in Costa Rica for over 4 months this year. The plan was to only stay for a month but for our own safety and mental health it was extended.
We enrolled Yale in a wonderful private school called Futuro Verde where she met new friends and was able to start learning Spanish.
If you’ve been to Costa Rica you get it if not it’s hard to explain in words. For us, our location is very private and it was a great flow of energy day in and day out. The heat helps with years of pain and surgeries I’ve had, golf and fishing were great, and overall you feel like you are where you’re supposed to be.
We have only rented the house to family and friends but are looking to open it up soon. For those interested the website is privacyincostarica.com. we are still making some updates to the website, which will include more details and additional photos.
During our stay, one of the people we spent a lot of time with is local outdoor guide Octavio. We fished, tour around, went to private beach’s for lunch, and across to the mainland for golf. It’s always a full and safe adventure with Octavio. We have known him for over a decade now and he’s treated all our friends and family with the upmost care when they go out with him. Fishing in Costa Rica is truly a world-class destination and something you will not forget.
I’ll do more posts on Costa Rica but for now, this is a little intro to the special little place in our hearts. If you’re interested in renting this 4 bedrooms, 6 bathroom house please contact us or email mariko@sturgeonslayers.com directly for more info. Below are more photos of the space.
