Safe Handling Sturgeon Fishing Practices

In the video below, Kevin Estrada of Sturgeon Slayers discusses safe handling fishing practices when fishing for Sturgeon on BC Outdoors Sport Fishing.

As seen in the video above, Kevin Estrada discusses a few safe handling Sturgeon fishing practices:

The first item that is discussed is the side sling cradle, which allows volunteers of the Sturgeon tagging program the ability to slide the fish into the cradle, tag them properly, measure the length and girth of the fish, and most importantly, keep the Sturgeon safe in the water. If you have any questions about the side sling cradles you can give @stugeonslayers a direct message on Instagram or contact them directly here. In the video, Kevin also discusses using a mono line while fishing, hooks, rod holders, and more.
